Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what personal data is processed when you visit xsd-easy.com and when you use the XSD Easy and XSD Easy Viewer applications, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Controller
- Controller: Mikel Pires Goñi
- Contact: [email protected]
2. The applications do not collect data
XSD Easy and XSD Easy Viewer run on your computer. Your XSD, your data and everything you generate stay on your machine: the applications have no accounts, do not send your files to any server and include no telemetry.
3. Data processed when you visit the website
- Technical connection data. The site and the downloads are served through Cloudflare, Inc., which, as a processor, handles your IP address, browser and the pages or files requested in order to deliver the content and protect the site from attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest in offering a secure, working site (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
- Visit statistics. Cloudflare Web Analytics is used. It sets no cookies and does not identify people: it only provides aggregated figures (page views, country, browser). Legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
- Fonts. The page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.), which receives your IP address when serving them. Legal basis: legitimate interest in displaying the site correctly.
- Email. If you write to [email protected], your address and what you tell us are used only to reply. Legal basis: your own request.
Contributions through Ko-fi are made on its website and are governed by its privacy policy; this site does not receive your payment details.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site uses no cookies. It only stores in your browser (local storage) the language you choose, to show you the site in that language next time; it is not sent anywhere and you can delete it from your browser.
5. Recipients and international transfers
No data is shared with third parties unless the law requires it. Cloudflare and Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, with appropriate safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
Technical logs are kept for the time set by Cloudflare for the security of the service, usually a few days. Emails, for as long as needed to answer your request.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to [email protected]. If you believe they have not been respected, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
8. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published here with its date.
